Team Outdoorsmen Adventure member and our good friend Wally Hilgenberg has passed away at the age of 66 after a two year battle with ALS.
His college career was spent at Iowa, he then went on to play linebacker for 16 years in the NFL, playing 4 years with the Detroit Lions and 12 years with the Minnesota Vikings.
Wally was an avid hunter and fishermen. He was a person that had tremendous faith, loved his family, life, and the outdoors.
The many hours that I and other members of our Team Outdoorsmen Adventures spent with Wally in the duck blind, in the field and on the water will never be forgotten.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and family.
