Outdoorsmen Adventures is an award-winning weekly outdoor program beginning its 15th season in 2010. It can be seen on 30 markets each week through out the upper Midwest as well as on live Internet.

Host Gary Howey and Team Outdoorsmen Adventures members will take you to some of the hottest hunting and fishing locations throughout the Midwest and Canada.

The Team is made up of some of the most successful tournament anglers, guides, outdoor writers, seminar speakers, outdoor radio and TV hosts from the upper Midwest.

Join them as they probe the depths of the lakes in South Dakota’s, Nebraska and Iowa’s as well as the Missouri River and its reservoirs, Lake Oahe, Lake Sharpe, Lake Francis Case and Lewis & Clark Lake for walleye, sauger and bass.

You’ll also find the fishing during both the soft and hard water seasons for walleye and perch on MN. Mille Lacs and Lake of the Woods.

On Outdoorsmen Adventures, you’ll learn how to rig up, use and catch fish using all types of tactics including, jigs, livebait rigs, lead core line, downriggers and slip bobbers.

The things you’ll see and learn on Outdoorsmen Adventures will help you to catch fish no matter what season or species of fish you’re after or what body of water you’re on, our Team Outdoorsmen Adventures members will show you how to catch them.

The team will be out on the water during both the soft water and the hard water seasons, showing you how to locate and catch monster perch, walleyes and bass.

On our show, you’ll learn the lakes, reservoirs and rivers as well as the methods used to catch fish that call them home throughout the year.

Outdoorsmen Adventures wants to remind you to support the brave men and women that are currently defending our country and our way of life.

The people of the armed forces are very important to host Gary Howey, as he’s spent many years in the regular Army serving in Germany and Viet Nam as well as in the Iowa and Nebraska National Guard. He knows all the sacrifices that they are making in order to defend our freedom and that of our country.

They need our support and that of the entire country. Politics shouldn’t be brought into the equation when it comes to supporting our troops! No matter what party you belong to, drop the politics and support them as Americans.

Outdoorsmen Adventures has shows planned with several groups of Iraqi veterans and will do all we can to let the men and women of the armed forces know that we appreciate all that they’ve done for us.

On our show, we’ll take you along on antelope, deer, bear, turkey, waterfowl, upland game and predator hunts we film throughout the Midwest.

We’ll be going after pheasant, turkey, waterfowl, bear, deer, predator and antelope in Nebraska, South Dakota and Minnesota and also do a bow fishing show along the Missouri River that forms the border between South Dakota and Nebraska.

No matter you how for or how you hunt, we’ll have something for you as we’ll be in the field with shotgun, rifle, muzzleloader and bow.
